Assembly Technicians (Permanent Contract)

About this role:

Loadpoint Bearings are looking for Assembly Technicians, for our assembly department to carry out the following duties.

1). The assembly of air bearing spindles.

2). Fitting parts together with micron clearances.

3). Installing motors and encoders into spindles.

4). Assembling of wiring looms to spindles.

5). Carrying out spindle testing :- air flow rate, water flow rate, testing load capacity…

6). Running air bearing spindles to speed using electronic drives.

7). Finalising with test certificate and data entered in to PC using Excel; and signing off the certificate.

Other duties will be repairing spindles, taking them apart, assessing the damage, filling out a repair report and eventually repairing the spindle and testing it.

Full training will be given for the first 12 months.
