A fond farewell but not goodbye

This month sees the retirement of Loadpoint’s Owner Director, Clive Bond.

Clive served an apprenticeship in electronic engineering with semitron and in 1980 then joined Loadpoint, a newly formed company, an acquisition of Semitron.

Initially, working at Loadpoint as an Electronics Design Engineer, then promoted to the position of Chief Engineer and progressing to the position of Owner Director in 1990.

Over that last 40 years, Clive has been instrumental in the continued development of dicing technologies and its equipment but most importantly, he is renowned for the innovative solutions he provides for Loadpoint’s clients. Clive is very much looking forward to retirement and having more family time and would like to take this opportunity to thank all clients and suppliers alike, who have supported Loadpoint to date and throughout his career.

Clive would like to highlight however, whilst retired, he will still be on hand to support his colleagues and customers in a consultancy capacity.

It’s business as usual in the capable and experienced hands of Clive’s business partner, Technical Director, Andrew Saunders and Managing Director, Bernard Scanlan who will continue the development of Loadpoint and this exciting industry.

We would all like to wish Clive a very long and happy retirement.
